You have a moment of inspiration. The energy of it fills you! Your body feels electric.
This moment is the initial spark, a dream that is the first breath of creative expression. As you nurture this spark with your attention, it begins to take shape, to have tasks attached to it and to require resources.
There are elements to all of this that are known. Then you do your research, learn more and the picture expands, perhaps changing direction. You make decisions and take action.
Momentum and Inspiration
There is an energetic ebb and flow to this momentum.
There is “right timing.” There is discerning the path forward that is connected to a bigger picture, beyond the comfort our personality might choose. Then there is trusting that there are unknown elements that require you to rely on your inner direction, asking questions and receiving new information from the source within you.
So tell me, how do you keep yourself inspired to move forward? How do you keep your pictures alive? Are you willing to listen to your inner direction?
Listening to your inner direction is the key.
Reflection
Reflection is key. Take some time for this now. Take a breath. Release it. Take another. Devote some dedicated time of concentration/meditation. It doesn’t need to be hours of quiet, perhaps only 15 minutes. Then allow the question to simmer within you through the weekend. Let responses bubble up into your awareness. Notice new ways of thinking, of images or ideas that arise spontaneously. Pay attention to your dreams. Let it happen. Be aware. See where it leads you next. Let yourself savor this process of receiving from yourself. Don’t judge whatever comes up, just receive it. Make notes.
You may want to share something from this process. Sharing is an important way to anchor an insight in your body. It leads you to deeper insight. It stimulates action. Feel free to use this arena to share whatever moves you.
Let your inspiration bloom!
