When is your creation complete? Does your painting need “more?” Is your program ready to launch? Do you finally have the credentials you (think you) need?

I thought my book was finished, ready to move to the next step into publication. I have been attuned to it, getting quiet, asking for guidance, listening, writing, editing. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

Then.

A conversation with a friend lit me up. A different way to express a critical idea emerged. I could see the words written in my mind’s eye. Okay, let’s see where this is needed.

As I was being interviewed for a soon-to-be-released podcast the host and I found ourselves speaking about how to calibrate to new, higher frequencies that we receive. That word, calibration, brought a differently nuanced understanding to both of us. This, too, needed to find a place in the book.

Since we continuously evolve and are never done, there must be a way to know when our creation is finished. Whether it is a painting that we imagine needs just a bit of purple in the right corner or adding a touch more red wine to the coq au vin, inner guidance provides direction. I know how to tune in when I am cooking. When I flow with the energy, my hand knows how much cumin to add. I find myself reaching for the mushrooms that I bought without a plan for their use.

The cues are often subtle. You need ears to hear the whispers of your own inner knowing. Create regular space to get quiet. Activate all of your sensors.

Trust is so important as I read my words. I look for a feeling of resonance in my body as my feedback.

Creation has its own rhythm, and you cannot impose your timelines on it. Nor can you simply coast along. Attention is needed, yet it is with a softer focus where you are ready to act, and, at the same time, you don’t push.

Remain open to the movement of the creative impulse. The editorial calendar is internal first.

So now, with the manuscript before me, I continue to tune in, asking for guidance, following the flow of the energy to know the next steps and the right timing. I trust this inner connection with Source.

I am waiting to hear and feel the words that I say at the end of each Turaya Meditation session: this is complete.
