My first Living Room Salon happened last weekend in Calgary, Alberta. Adele Fedorak invited people from her community to spend a morning with me. This is a new experience that I will be bringing to living rooms around the world!
Every gathering I have has a unique energetic signature. Something different is needed each time. I always ask for the frequency that will support those who are there. The energy of the people, the place, the current “situation” are all a part of this.
When I tuned into the focus of this particular gathering, it was to be around receiving.
I often speak about the importance of “receiving yourself”, but what does this mean?
I love what Danielle LaPorte says about receiving. “WE NEED TO RE-TRAIN OURSELVES TO RECEIVE. This can be boggling to over-achievers. But I tell you: receptivity to higher guidance is THE skill we have to cultivate.”
This is about expanding your capacity to realize that who you are is exactly who is needed. For everything in your life. For each moment.
Everything that is, is contained in you. Your cells are a microcosm of this Field.
It means stepping into a profound relationship with yourself: the one that precedes all others. And this mirrors where you came from and who you are, connected with the entire field of Creation.
Any information, any wisdom, must connect with your own experience, that is, you need to receive it, to feel it. Without an impact within your own inner system, there is nothing that will truly change.
So, it all comes down to vibration.
Now you may not be someone who ever considers how your body feels. Or you may be acutely sensitive to it! Everything in life is energy. Everything has a frequency and vibration. When the vibratory rate in your cells is high, then you feel more expansive. You connect with a greater capacity to feel love. Your creativity, which encompasses your problem-solving ability, becomes immediately available to you in an intimate way.
Life brings you so many opportunities to receive. When you allow yourself time to experience yourself in new ways, you step into the next part of your life as the co-creator with the Universe that you are.
