“It’s easier to think outside the box if you don’t draw one around yourself.” Jason Kravitz
Staying inside the confines of the proverbial box inhibits your ability to make a quantum leap. By their nature, quantum leaps are unscripted, with the landing point (the other side of the leap) often far beyond the dimensions of said box.
I’ve been reflecting quite a bit these days, looking back on my life as I move forward into what is next. One of the themes that has been emerging is how fear and doubt show up when making massive change. Even after all these years of “embracing the unknown”, this still happens for me. It seems that as I make even bigger change, there is still this familiar duo.
Every change comes packaged in the unknown. What will happen? What if I don’t do it? Can I really do this? How will it work out? Will I be okay?
It always takes courage and some amount of trust to step out. That you will, in fact, be okay. Maybe even better than okay: to thrive.
Magic comes when I feel that alchemical blend of courage and trust. It happens when I’ve allowed a new frequency to be activated in me. Even though it is unfamiliar, I recognize that it is asking me to surrender into it.
Step into the Unknown
What is most useful when stepping into the unknown? At the same time that I remember how often I’ve been here, how familiar this fear and doubt are that have surfaced, I also know that I must cross this threshold into the void with nothing in my hands. No expectations, no plan, no judgement.
This is where your potential lies. If you have dreamed it, it’s because the blueprint in already there within you, just waiting to be activated.
Is it time to give yourself this gift? It’s the gift of spaciousness so that activation can happen, so that you can make the quantum leap and receive what’s next.
One way to do this is to consciously step away from your everyday life. It’s why we created The Moreness Retreat. You step into the unknown in the company of others doing that same crossing of the threshold, in an exquisite location, embraced by beauty. I wanted to share this video so you can have a feeling of what I mean.
